    • This exclusive after-dark event grants VIP access to one of Key West’s most haunted locations—the historic Old Firehouse # 3.

    • Your experience begins with an immersive 45-minute audio tour narrated by David L. Sloan, author of Ghosts of Key West.

    • Hear the spine-tingling stories of those who once lived—and died—within these walls.

    •  Then, the VIP adventure begins.

    • You’ll be given free rein of the entire fire station, outfitted with a flashlight and professional ghost-hunting tools to conduct your own paranormal investigation.

    • 2 hours.

    • 45-minute audio ghost tour.

    • 75-minute solo investigation.

    • You won’t just hear ghost stories—

    • You’ll actively seek out spirits using professional-grade ghost-hunting equipment and have the chance to experience paranormal activity firsthand.

    • The Firehouse is located at 1024 Grinnell St, Key West, FL.

    • Please enter through the Virginia Street gate at the rear of the firehouse.

    • This historic landmark has a long history of ghostly encounters and is a must-visit location for paranormal enthusiasts.

Booking & Tickets

    • Discount tickets are available exclusively online at GhostKeyWest.com.

    • Due to limited availability, we highly recommend booking in advance.

    • VIP tickets ar $99.

    • Discount VIP tickets are $65.

    • The experience is the same. The only difference is the price.

    • We offer a limited number of discount tickets each evening.

    • We don’t suggest the experience for kids under 10 years old.

    • Parents can use their best judgement.

    • Infants are not permitted.

    • Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

    • Yes.

    • We sell just 13 tickets each night.

    • If you have a larger group, ask about our private investigations.

Experience Details & Rules

    • You’ll have access to the entire fire station, inside and out.

    • Inside includes 2 floors and more than 4000 square feet.

    • Former bunk room, feed shed, tree of graves, haunted fire trucks. main engine room, communication center and more.

    • Yes. We have dowsing rods, EMF meters, a spirit box, and a Ouija Board.

    • Your ghost host can teach you how to capture Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVPs) with your smart phone.

    • We often add new equipment to the experience.

    • No.

    • Your ghost host will show you how to use the different equipment.

    • Stories of ghosts in the old fire station go back to the days when it was an active firehouse.

    • Visitors regularly report paranormal activity in the day time and after hours.

    • Yes.

    • The lights will be off in the firehouse.

    • We provide flashlights.

    • The solo investigation lets you decide what level of interaction you want with the spirits.

    • We provide equipment for spirit communication and detection.

    • Absolutely.

    • A fully charged camera or smartphone (for the audio ghost tour and recording evidence)

    • Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (the Firehouse yard has uneven surfaces)

Paranormal Safety & Concerns

    • Many guests have reported direct interactions with spirits at the Firehouse.

    • While we can’t guarantee activity, past investigations have resulted in objects moving, strange noises, and intelligent spirit responses.

    • Exploring the firehouse alone can be intense.

    • If you feel overwhelmed, you are welcome to step outside for a break or stay close to your ghost host in the gift shop.

    • We do not offer refunds if you leave early because you are frightened.

    • While we take every precaution to ensure safety, paranormal investigations can be unsettling.

    • Guests have reported experiencing cold spots, dizziness, light-headedness, and a lingering sense of being watched.

    • If you have a heart condition or severe anxiety, this experience may not be for you.

    • While rare, some guests have reported strange activity following their visit.

    • We will show you how to perform a spiritual cleansing ritual at the end of the night to ensure that no attachments linger.

Additional Information

    • Absolutely not.

    • Any obviously intoxicated guests will be turned away without refund.

    • Some areas are accessible, but certain sections involve stairs and uneven ground.

    • Please contact us in advance to discuss accommodations.

    • The experience takes place indoors, so we run rain or shine.

    • Yes.

    • The gift shop is open after the experience.

    • This is a residential neighborhood with limited parking.

    • If possible, walk, bike, taxi, or rideshare.

    • There are two parking spots alongside the firehouse on Virginia Street you may park in during the experience.

    • They are marked “No Parking & Do Not Block Gate” but you will not be towed if you are inside.

    • We have a bike rack inside the firehouse yard.

    • Yes. We welcome well-behaved dogs.

    • Please let us know if you are bringing a dog in your booking comments.

  • Yes. We have a wheelchair accessible bathroom on site.
