What Happens On The Tour
Part History. Part Skywatch.
Never the Same Twice.
Start with the real UFO history of Key West, including strange sightings, local stories, and unexplained events connected to the island and surrounding waters.
Then turn your attention to the sky. Using night vision equipment and other viewing tools, you’ll scan overhead, compare what you’re seeing, talk UFOs and theories, and see where the night takes you.
There’s no rigid script. What happens overhead helps shape the experience.

Meet Captain Heather
Key West character. UFO researcher.
Your guide to the unexplained.
Captain Heather leads every tour herself, blending Key West UFO history, unusual sightings, theories, and curiosity about whatever might be overhead. She’s a licensed Key West boat captain and land guide.
This is an unscripted experience shaped by the group, the conversation, and the sky. Some nights lean into local UFO history. Others go deeper into sightings, theories, and unexplained phenomena.
No two tours are exactly alike.
What Might We See
The night sky looks very different
through night vision.
You’ll scan the sky through a professional PVS-14 third-generation night-vision scope valued at nearly $5,000, the same type of night-vision technology used by the U.S. military.
We see unidentified flying objects on most clear nights.
On especially active nights, we’ve counted more than 45 strange objects moving through the sky.
Some display unusual propulsion or sudden directional changes unlike conventional aircraft, drones, or satellites.
Some sightings are easy to identify. Others remain unexplained.
The PVS-14 is shared by the group, with plenty of viewing time for everyone.
